I just turned down a babysitting job tonight for an “Anything But Clothes” party… I havent been out (as in drunk at a bar) since I got here, 2 weeks now. So I think I deserve a night to play :)  I worked hard yesterday, and enjoyed every minute of it. So today I will play hard!  Now time to get my costume readyyy.

“A young demonstrator told me that, when running from the police on Tuesday, he entered a building and rang an apartment bell at random. It was 4am. A 60-year-old man opened the door, fear obvious on his face. The demonstrator asked the man to hide him from the police. The man asked to see his identity card and invited him in, waking one of his three daughters to prepare some food for the young...

So I was in Cairo a little over 3 months ago. Crazy to think. The videos that have been posted are all places that I have been, things I have seen, squares I hung out in, walked around it, met people in.  One really cool encounter I had was at Khan el-Khalili market. I was with my friend and we were just two girls trying to make our way. This really cool guy took us under his wing, and got us...

The Plague is going around my school, and since my school is so small (~500) when one person gets it, everyone gets it. My body is achey, my skin hurts, and i have a cough… I am hoping that these are just symptoms of a hangover from last night, but doubtful! I think these are the symptoms of The Plague!!! :(

Sorry for the late reply. I will hopefully *crosses fingers* be studying in France next fall, BUT I just added another major (Business) in addition to French, so that may change what country I study in.

Switzerland is def on my list of countries to visit though. I bet you are having a splendid time :)

I am going out for the first time in almost a week tonight. It is much needed. Yes, I like this new calm life style, but I am looking forward to letting a little loose at my favorite event of the week.. Skeeball!  Skeeball is a club on campus (that I am VP of) which every week people from all over campus get together in one of the residence halls and we have a skeeball machine which was built by...
